Snake Bite!

This week has been an absolute blast in terms of fun, in terms of teaching challenging,  We were averaging probably three lessons a day; which sucks because we usually have about eight or nine scheduled appointments.

On a happier note, the Motherwell Elders have a new pet.  His name is Samuel (Elder W. named him)  and he is a RUBBER (as in not real) snake. We hold it out the window as we drive and scare people.  Also one of our fellow shippers His name is M.  He is crazy will randomly whip you with him whilst yelling "SNAKE BITE!".

Story #1:  "You want to kiss my malungus! They are my malungus, you have to kiss me first!" - Mz.

When we were scaring people with the snake.  A lady shouted this at Mz.  This was his response.  and it killed me,  I could not stop laughing.  I had to pull over the car so I could stop laughing before something bad happened.  We have a good time in Motherwell.

Story #2: Inspired Questions.

We had a training on this from one of our esteemed AP's, Elder G.  This week with the shortage of lessons I have been trying to implement-(start a conversation) a lot.  So yesterday we were greeting this lady and she just seemed like she didn't want us to be there and really didn't want to make time for the gospel.  So I was silent for a little bit and asked an inspired question.  This lady opened up straight away and we found out about a few deaths in the family and because it was this time of year that they happened it was very hard for her.  She said that no one could understand her.  Right then and there we opened up to Alma 7:11-12 and shared about the atonement and the plan of salvation.  It was absolutely incredible how those questions really bring someone to open up their heart to Christ!

That's the stories I have for you today.  I hope you all have a wonderful week.
